Diving in OKINAWA
Okinawa is home to exceptional marine life and very healthy reefs.
Due to its limestone formation, Okinawa offers caves, walls,
swimming pools and canyons. Our island is also home to many
creatures such as frogfish, leaf scorpionfish, ghost and hardy
pipefish, etc. In Okinawa we dive all year round because the
temperatures are relatively stable from 21°C in winter to 29°C in
summer. If you are lucky you may come across eagle rays, mantas,
hammerhead sharks and even humpback whales during the winter
and there is also plenty of reef life like nudibranchs, octopus,
cuttlefish…
Okinawa is definitely Japan’s underwater gem.
